Okay, so I was using reusable shopping bags for years, but the plastic kind you can buy from the grocery store with their Logo’s on them and only lasts 6 months if your’e lucky. The other problem was they would get destroyed when washing them and also they were not exactly Eco-friendly as I originally thought they were.(OOPS!) A couple of years ago switched over to biodegradable shopping bags that are plant based that last for many many years before having to replace and are machine washable! My point? Choosing the right products at first can be a little confusing and downright complicated in the beginning. I have made many choices along the way in my journey toward sustainable living, not necessarily getting “it right” the first time. But each time, I learn more and more, improving on my choices that I make for my family! Not deciding to make an effort at all towards reducing single-use plastics, hurts us all and our beloved planet!
